Iceland Expands 60-Minute Grocery Delivery via Amazon Nationwide
Iceland Launches 60-Minute Amazon Delivery UK-Wide

Iceland has joined forces with Amazon to introduce a rapid 60-minute grocery delivery service across the United Kingdom, marking a significant expansion of its online retail partnership. This move places Iceland alongside other major supermarket chains like Morrisons and Co-op in offering ultra-fast delivery options through Amazon's platform.

Nationwide Rollout Including Northern Ireland Debut

Amazon announced on Thursday, February 11, 2026, that Iceland's grocery selection is now available for nationwide delivery through its service. Customers in key cities including Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Nottingham can now access a wide array of Iceland products with delivery times as quick as 60 minutes.

The launch in Belfast is particularly noteworthy as it represents the first time shoppers in Northern Ireland can purchase Iceland groceries directly through Amazon. This expansion significantly broadens consumer access to Iceland's range of fresh foods, everyday essentials, and household items via Amazon's established delivery network.

Strategic Partnership Expansion

This development forms part of Amazon's broader strategy to enhance its grocery delivery partnerships within the UK market. By 2026, Amazon is projected to more than double the number of Amazon UK Prime members who have access to three or more online grocery delivery options, with Iceland now joining Morrisons and Co-op as key retail partners.

Russell Jones, Director of Amazon Grocery Partnerships, commented: "We're continually working to give customers more choice, value and flexibility in how they shop for groceries. More customers across the UK can now choose from a wide range of Iceland groceries and household essentials, with a range of convenient, fast delivery options."

Enhanced Customer Convenience

Tarsem Dhaliwal, CEO of Iceland Foods, added: "This extension of our partnership with Amazon means that we can serve even more communities nationwide with Iceland's quality products, all with the convenience of Amazon's shopping experience. For Northern Ireland in particular, we're proud to be the first grocery partner to offer a service like this through Amazon's platform."

Shoppers can access thousands of Iceland products through Amazon.co.uk or the Amazon mobile application, according to the frozen food specialist. The service offers multiple delivery options including:

  • Same-Day delivery for urgent needs
  • Next-Day delivery for planned shopping
  • Free delivery on eligible orders for Amazon Prime members

This expansion comes as Iceland competes with other major UK supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, and Aldi in the increasingly competitive online grocery delivery market. The partnership represents a significant step in making Iceland's products more accessible to consumers across the country through digital shopping channels.
