Morrisons Extends Free Kids' Meals in Birmingham Cafés for Christmas
Morrisons' Free Kids' Meals for Christmas in Birmingham

Supermarket giant Morrisons has announced it will continue its popular Kids Eat Free initiative across the festive period, offering a vital helping hand to families in Birmingham and beyond.

How the Morrisons Kids Eat Free Deal Works

The scheme, which runs every single day of the year in all Morrisons cafés, provides a complimentary meal and drink for one child under the age of 16. The key condition is that an accompanying adult must purchase a main meal valued at over £5.

Will Reed, Senior Café Trader at Morrisons, explained the reasoning behind the ongoing offer: “We know Christmas can put extra strain on family budgets, especially with everyday costs continuing to rise. By offering free kids’ meals in all our Morrisons Cafés, we’re helping to ease that pressure.”

Festive Food Options for Children

Young diners have a wide array of hot meal choices this Christmas. The menu is designed to appeal to various tastes and includes popular items such as:

  • Goodfella’s Mini Margherita Pizza
  • Goodfella’s Mac & Cheese Garlic Bread
  • Birds Eye Chicken Dippers and Fish Fingers
  • A 'build your own' breakfast featuring Birds Eye Potato Waffles

All these hot options are served with a side and a choice of vegetables or beans. For those preferring something cooler, children can also opt for a Pick ‘n Mix meal deal selected from the café fridge.

Family Dining on a Budget This Christmas

Morrisons is simultaneously running another promotion that families can combine with the kids' deal. The 'Two Adult Meals and Two Refillable Drinks for £15' offer means a family of four can enjoy a meal out for just £15, with the children selecting freely from the Kids Eat Free menu.

The supermarket states this combined initiative aims to help households stretch their budget during a time when financial pressures are often heightened.

While numerous Morrisons stores in the West Midlands feature cafés, customers are advised to double-check that their local branch has one before visiting. It is also essential to be aware of altered Christmas opening times over the festive dates to avoid any disappointment.
