Local Energy Company Makes Significant Donation to Children's Charity

Friday the 13th brought good fortune to a North East children's charity as LoadingDirect Global, a Houghton le Spring-based business specializing in energy and sustainability solutions, donated an impressive £7,000. The contribution was part of their Christmas fundraising efforts and will directly support children living with disabilities, additional needs, and terminal illnesses across the region.

The Sunshine Fund, established in 1928, relies entirely on corporate partnerships and community support as it receives zero statutory funding. This substantial donation will enable the charity to continue its vital work creating brighter futures for vulnerable children in the North East.
