East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Delivers Major Fundraising Success for Local Hospice
In a remarkable display of community spirit, the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce has concluded a highly successful year of fundraising, generating a substantial £9,148 for the East Cheshire Hospice. This significant sum will directly benefit patients facing life-limiting illnesses, providing crucial support for their care and wellbeing.
A Diverse Array of Fundraising Events
The impressive total was accumulated through a series of well-attended and creatively organized events throughout the year. Chamber members participated enthusiastically in a variety of activities designed to foster camaraderie while raising funds. The calendar featured a dedicated golf day, a popular cake and coffee afternoon, an engaging clay pigeon shoot, a festive Christmas lunch, and the prestigious Annual Business Awards ceremony held at the De Vere Cranage Estate.
The awards evening proved particularly fruitful, incorporating both a raffle and a live auction that spurred generous contributions from the local business community in attendance.

Jackie Randles, the Chief Executive of the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, expressed immense pride in the collaborative effort. "That comprehensive support covers our inpatient care services, the Sunflower Living Well Centre, and our vital Hospice @Home program. That represents a substantial amount of care—and people helped—within a single 24-hour period."
