Dental Hygienics has celebrated the fundraising achievements of one of its engineers, Felix, who recently underwent a dramatic haircut to raise vital funds for Dentaid The Dental Charity.
From Hair Donation to Fundraising Campaign
Felix had been growing his hair for some time with the initial intention of donating it to a hair charity. However, following discussions with the team, he decided to pivot the challenge into a direct fundraising campaign for Dentaid.
A JustGiving page was set up and promoted across Dental Hygienics’ social media channels, inviting friends, family, colleagues, and customers to sponsor Felix.
Community Support and Successful Completion
The response from the community was overwhelmingly heartwarming. On Saturday, June 13, Felix completed his challenge, successfully shedding his long hair.
The event took place in Braintree District Council area.
