Taylor Wimpey £500 Community Competition in Mosley Common

Homebuilder Taylor Wimpey has launched a new community competition in Mosley Common, Greater Manchester, offering a single cash prize of £500 to support a local grass-roots initiative or volunteer organisation. The initiative aims to give a financial boost to groups that rely on public donations to run their daily services and make a positive difference in the neighbourhood.

How to Nominate

Local residents living across Mosley Common are being urged to put forward their favourite nearby charities or causes that could benefit from the extra funding. Nominations can be submitted by email to bridgewatercommunity@taylorwimpey-pr.co.uk, with a short description explaining why the chosen cause deserves to win. The nomination window closes on Monday, August 3, 2026. Only one entry per person will be counted towards the final decision.

Selection Process

The winning group will be selected by Taylor Wimpey once the nomination window closes at the end of the summer. The successful group will be contacted directly by organisers later in the month. Rachel Barber, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “At Taylor Wimpey, we understand the importance of supporting the communities in which we build, and there’s no better way than local residents to let us know who makes a real difference in their area.” She added: “We want to hear who you think would benefit from a £500 donation, so whether it is a local charity that relies on donations to continue helping the community, or a group that offers invaluable support, please get in touch.”
