Detectives in Warwickshire have intensified their search for Adrian Lewicki, a 31-year-old man wanted in connection with a rape in Nuneaton. The reward for information leading to his location has been increased from £1,000 to £5,000, offered by the independent charity Crimestoppers.
Details of the Incident
Warwickshire Police received a report on June 14 that a woman had been raped and assaulted in a flat in Nuneaton. An urgent investigation was launched, and officers believe Lewicki can assist with their enquiries. The force has now released a recent image of Lewicki showing him with no hair and a new neck tattoo, in addition to a distinctive 'Tom and Jerry' tattoo visible in earlier photos.
Appeal for Information
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "The reward for information leading to us locating Adrian Lewicki has now been increased to £5,000. We believe that Lewicki can assist with enquiries into a rape in Nuneaton - we received a report that a woman had been raped and assaulted in a flat on the night of 14 June."
The spokesperson added that Lewicki may be in Nuneaton or Coventry, but also has links to Morecambe in Lancashire and may be travelling around the country. "We are also sharing a more recent picture of Lewicki, which shows no beard and no hair and a new neck tattoo, in addition to the distinctive 'Tom and Jerry' tattoo in the first image," they said.
