Heartfelt Plea from Ali's Parents
Ali's parents spoke emotionally at the scene of the last CCTV sighting on Middlemore Road, Northfield. They expressed their anguish, saying: "It's been a year now since we last saw our son Ali. A year since we haven't seen his beautiful face, heard his voice and seen his lovely smile. We don't know where he is. We haven't heard from him. There's no social media activity, no bank activity, nothing."
They highlighted Ali's background, noting he held an economics degree from the University of York and worked as a data scientist, describing him as intelligent, kind, and loving. The family shared: "We are yearning to see our son. We've missed him so much this past year. He's missed out on so many happy occasions, celebrations, graduations, and the birth of his nephew."
In a direct appeal, they pleaded: "We are pleading to the public for information on Ali's whereabouts. Please, if you have any information about Ali's whereabouts we want to find our son. We want him home. We want to find him safe. We love you. We miss you. It's very hard not to have you around."
