Man Arrested After Allegedly Brandishing Knife While Driving in Tipton
Police have made an arrest following reports of a weapon being brandished in Tipton, with a motorist allegedly driving along while pointing a blade on Monday evening.
West Midlands Police responded quickly to the incident, which occurred on Dudley Port in Tipton. Officers were alerted to a car being driven by someone pointing a blade just before 8pm on April 13.
Swift Police Response Leads to Arrest
Officers arrived promptly in the area and stopped a vehicle at around 8pm. During the stop, they found and seized a knife from the car.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife and being threatening with an offensive weapon. He remains in custody for questioning as the investigation continues.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We've recovered a knife and made an arrest after quickly responding to reports of a man brandishing a weapon in Tipton. We were alerted to a car being driven on Dudley Port by someone pointing a blade at just before 8pm yesterday (April 13). Officers were quickly in the area and stopped a vehicle from which a knife was seized. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife and being threatening with an offensive weapon. He remains in custody for questioning."
