West Midlands Police have launched an investigation after a bus driver was subjected to racial abuse on a service in the Black Country. The incident occurred on the No. 74 bus near Birchfield Lane in Oldbury at around 11:30pm on Tuesday, March 17.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may hold crucial information about the incident. The driver was targeted while operating the bus, prompting a police appeal for witnesses.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We want to speak to this man after a bus driver was racially abused in Sandwell. It happened on the No. 74 bus near Birchfield Lane, Oldbury, at around 11.30pm on March 17."
