Details of the Stop

The vehicle was stopped by officers from the Smethwick Neighbourhood Policing Team. During a search of the car, they found a stash of drugs, including class A and class B substances, along with a significant amount of cash. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of criminal property.

Police Statement

Sergeant Rob Powell from the Smethwick Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "This is a great result for the local community. We are committed to tackling drug supply and the associated crime that often comes with it. This seizure will have disrupted the supply of drugs in the area." The man remains in police custody for questioning as investigations continue.
