West Midlands Police have issued a fresh appeal for information following a shooting in Smith's Wood, Solihull, that left a teenager and a man seriously injured. The victims, aged 16 and 19, were discovered with gunshot wounds on Vauxhall Crescent at approximately 2.30am on 15 June.
Victims in Stable Condition After Life-Threatening Injuries
Initially, the injuries were considered life-threatening, but both individuals have since been reported in a stable condition. Detectives from the Major Crimes Team have been gathering CCTV footage and witness statements to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
Police believe the attack was targeted and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Officers continue to patrol the area to provide reassurance to the community.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We are renewing our appeal for information after shots were fired in Smith's Wood last week. Officers from our Major Crimes Team are continuing their investigation after two people were seriously injured in Vauxhall Crescent last week (15 June)."
The spokesperson added: "Since the incident on 15 June, officers have been gathering CCTV and witness statements as they investigate the exact circumstances around what happened. At this stage, it is believed this was a targeted attack and any members of the community who have concerns are encouraged to tell us by speaking with our officers, who are continuing their patrols in the area."
