According to reports, a small, blue car pulled up beside the teenage girl, and two men inside spoke to her, asking her to get into the vehicle. When she refused and ran off towards Murray Road Park, the men reportedly exited the car and pursued her on foot.

The men are then reported to have run after the girl, before the girl has screamed and the two men have left, returned to their vehicle and driven off along Murray Road, towards Felixstowe Road.
