Nottinghamshire Police have launched a serious investigation after a man was chased by two individuals wielding knives near a primary school. The alarming incident occurred in the Bestwood area of Nottingham, sparking concern among local residents and authorities.

The frightening episode took place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM. A man in his 20s was pursued down Hillington Rise, close to Glade Hill Primary and Nursery School. Fortunately, the victim managed to escape the situation unharmed and was later located by police officers who confirmed he had not sustained any injuries.

Detectives from Nottinghamshire Police were called to the scene following multiple reports of two men carrying knives chasing another individual. The location's proximity to a school during a busy time meant the incident was witnessed by several people, adding to the urgency of the investigation.
