Man Dies at Hastings Beach Despite Emergency Response

A man has tragically died after emergency services rushed to a popular beach in St Leonards, Hastings, following reports concerning his welfare. Sussex Police deployed officers to a medical incident near Warrior Square at 11am yesterday morning.

An air ambulance crew arrived alongside police officers to administer treatment to the individual. However, despite the best efforts of the paramedics on the beach, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident caused significant disruption to the surrounding area, resulting in the closure of Carlisle Parade to traffic. A privacy screen was also set up on the beach whilst officers completed their work at the location, reports The Mirror.
