Masked Thugs Pull Teen Off E-Bike and Steal It

A teenage boy was robbed of his electric bike after being pulled from it by two masked men in Lichfield. The incident occurred in broad daylight at approximately 5:30 PM on Wednesday, May 6, at the junction of James Greenway and Dimbles Lane.

The 13-year-old victim was cycling when he was approached from behind and forcibly removed from his bicycle. One of the suspects then rode away on the stolen e-bike, while the second suspect fled on his own e-bike. Both suspects are believed to be male and were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.

Staffordshire Police have launched an appeal for information and witnesses. The stolen bicycle is described as a black Specialized Levo Turbo e-bike with a purple Specialized logo, green pedals, and green handlebar grips. The suspects were last seen heading north along Dimbles Lane toward Eastern Avenue.

Police are urging anyone with relevant information, CCTV footage, or dashcam recordings to contact them at 101, quoting incident number 627 of May 6. Alternatively, anonymous reports can be made to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
