Murder Investigation Launched After Man Found Dead with Head Injuries in Wrexham Home
Police have initiated a murder probe following the discovery of a man's body with severe head injuries at a residential property in Wrexham. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community as authorities work to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death.

Officers were called to an address in Rhosllanerchrugog, near Wrexham, shortly after midday on Friday, March 27, 2026. CCTV Footage Reveals Altercation
Detectives have revealed that CCTV footage indicates the victim was involved in a physical altercation at approximately midday on Thursday, March 26, in the Bonc Wen car park within the village. The footage shows several individuals walking past the scene, along with a number of vehicles parked in the area at the time.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Rob Mahoney, emphasized the importance of this evidence in the ongoing investigation. "We understand through CCTV enquiries the victim was involved in a physical altercation at around midday on Thursday, 26 March on the Bonc Wen Car Park in Rhos," he stated during a public appeal for information.
Appeal for Witnesses and Information
Authorities are urgently seeking witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward. DI Mahoney made a direct plea to the public: "I am asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who was parked in the car park at the time and may have dashcam footage, to get in touch with officers."
He further reassured the community, noting that this appears to be an isolated incident. "I would like to reassure the community that we are treating this as an isolated incident, and whilst the community will be concerned I do not believe there is any wider risk to the public," DI Mahoney added.
