The incident occurred at approximately 2pm yesterday, Tuesday, February 24, prompting a significant police response.
Scene Details and Forensic Examination
Authorities have cordoned off a home on Yardley Wood Road, with police vehicles and a West Midlands Fire Service vehicle stationed outside. Forensic officers were observed photographing a door that had been removed from its hinges, and a black Volkswagen Polo on the driveway was covered with a blue forensic tent.
Additionally, an area of land on Billesley Common, located behind the house near a children's play area, was sealed off. A small police tent was seen covering items of interest, believed to be burnt materials, with two officers guarding the site.

A nearby mother expressed her worries, stating, "I've seen people coming and going looking at the scene all morning. I think everyone here is just worried about what's happened. Loads of families live in this area. We walk this way all the time. It doesn't feel safe. It's not nice for the children to see."
Another local resident, standing near the park behind Yardley Wood Road, mentioned, "I was at the shops and heard about it. I came over this morning. I heard they'd found something on the common and then saw these two coppers."
