Appeal Launched Following Oscott Break-In

West Midlands Police have issued a public appeal to identify a man and a woman in connection with a car key burglary at a property in the Oscott area of Birmingham.

The incident occurred at an address on Dormington Road on the morning of Sunday, 19 October. Intruders are reported to have broken into the home between 4am and 7.30am, making off with a car and several bank cards.

CCTV Images Released by Police

Following the burglary, one of the stolen bank cards was used in a shop the next day. In response, detectives have released CCTV images of two individuals they are eager to trace.

The woman pictured is described as white with brown hair. In the image, she is seen in a shop aisle wearing a grey coat with a black collar and trim, over a white top, and blue jeans.

The image of the man is less clear, but he also appears to be white and was captured wearing a white coat, a black top, and trousers with matching horizontal white stripes on the chest and left leg. He was also wearing white shoes.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: “We want to speak to this pair following a burglary in Birmingham. Bank cards and a car were stolen from an address in Dormington Road, New Oscott, between 4am and 7.30am on 19 October. The bank card was then used in a shop the next day.”
