Police have released a CCTV image and are urging the public to help identify a man wanted for questioning in connection with what they describe as an 'inappropriate' incident on a bus in Birmingham.
Details of the Bus Incident
The alleged offence, reported as outraging public decency, occurred on the number 74 bus service travelling from West Bromwich towards Birmingham city centre. Authorities state the incident took place at approximately 8:20am on Thursday, September 18.
An offence of outraging public decency involves an act that is considered lewd, obscene, or disgusting and is committed in the presence of two or more members of the public.
Appeal for Information and Description
In a bid to progress the investigation, West Midlands Police have issued a clear CCTV still of a man they are eager to identify. The individual is pictured wearing a stripy polo shirt and a jacket. He can also be seen holding what appears to be a mobile phone.
Officers are asking anyone who recognises the man or has any information about the incident to come forward.
