West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to following a bank card theft in Halesowen. The incident occurred on High Street on March 23 between 11.25am and 11.45am.
Card stolen and used fraudulently
According to a police spokesperson, the stolen bank card was later used to make purchases totalling hundreds of pounds from the victim's account. Officers believe the woman pictured may have crucial information about the theft and subsequent fraudulent spending.
Appeal for information
The force is urging anyone who recognises the woman to come forward. A spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this woman? We'd like to speak with her as part of our investigation into a theft of a bank card on High Street, Halesowen, on 23 March, between 11.25am and 11.45am. The card was later used with hundreds of pounds taken from the account."
