Police Appeal for Information After Cash Theft at West Bromwich Shopping Centre
West Midlands Police have issued a public appeal for information following a significant theft at a shopping centre in West Bromwich. Officers are seeking to speak with two individuals captured on CCTV in connection with the incident.
Details of the Theft Incident
The theft occurred at Kings Square Shopping Centre in West Bromwich on Wednesday, December 10. According to police reports, a large amount of cash was stolen from the handbag of a shopper at approximately 11:30 AM. The victim was shopping at the centre when the theft took place.
Investigators have been conducting enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage, but have so far been unable to identify those involved in the incident. The police have now released images of two persons of interest in hopes that the public can assist with identification.
Description of Persons Sought
The first individual police wish to speak with is described as a woman with black hair. She was pictured wearing a grey headscarf and a grey hooded coat that extended down to her ankles at the time of the incident.
The second person officers are looking to identify is dressed in what appears to be a black burka with only their eyes visible, along with a black coat. Police are treating this individual as a separate person of interest in connection with the theft.

We want to speak with them after a large amount of cash was stolen from a handbag of a person shopping around Kings Square in West Bromwich, at around 11:30 AM on 10 December. We have carried out enquiries including CCTV footage but have been unable to identify those involved."
