Police are hunting for a suspect after a man was left with serious injuries following a violent attack in a Shrewsbury alleyway.

Appeal for Witnesses After Early Morning Assault

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, November 23, next to the Labyrinth nightclub on Hill's Lane. According to West Mercia Police, the assault took place at approximately 3:45 am.

The victim was so severely injured that he required immediate hospital treatment for his wounds. Officers have described his injuries as 'serious'.

CCTV Images Released in Police Investigation

In a bid to progress their investigation, detectives have released two CCTV images of a man they are eager to identify and speak with. They believe this individual was in the vicinity at the time of the assault and may possess crucial information.

The man police wish to trace is described as:

  • White
  • Clean-shaven
  • With brown hair

In the CCTV footage, he is seen wearing two white necklaces and a black long-sleeved top featuring a red and white logo on the front. He also appears to be wearing dark trousers, potentially jeans, and brown shoes.
