West Midlands Police are continuing their search for a registered sex offender who has been missing for three years, with detectives admitting they have no leads on his current location.
Three-Year Manhunt With No Results
Daljinder Singh, from the Parkfields area of Wolverhampton, was first reported missing in August 2022 and remains one of the force's longest-standing wanted individuals. The initial alert was issued after Singh breached notification requirements that registered sex offenders must follow.
Despite numerous public appeals and the circulation of his photograph, the now 34 or 35-year-old has successfully evaded capture. The original police appeal has been viewed more than 61,000 times on the West Midlands Police website, yet no credible sightings have been reported.
Public Warning: Do Not Approach
Authorities have issued a clear warning to the public regarding Singh, who also uses the name Talvinder. Do not approach him if seen, but instead immediately call 999. The force emphasizes that he should be considered potentially dangerous.
Alternative methods to provide information include using the Live Chat function on the West Midlands Police website between 8am and midnight, quoting crime reference number 20/621021/22. Anonymous tips can also be given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
An Enduring Mystery
The case presents an ongoing challenge for detectives. The complete disappearance of Singh, leaving no digital or physical trail for three years, is particularly concerning for a registered sex offender. His ability to remain undetected for such an extended period suggests he may have access to support networks or has significantly altered his appearance.
The public appeal remains active, and the investigation is ongoing as police pursue any new information that could lead to his location and arrest.
