A SWAT team and armed officers responded to a serious incident near the stadium where England will begin their World Cup campaign. The Arlington Police Department deployed dozens of vehicles and heavily armed units on West Division Street, just a mile from the AT&T Stadium.

Domestic Dispute Confirmed

Police confirmed they were called to a domestic dispute between a man and a woman at a residential address. A female resident was barricaded inside with other occupants, and a weapon was reportedly produced. No injuries were reported, and the suspect is in custody. An investigation is ongoing.

Security Precaution

Snipers, drones, and an armoured BearCat were deployed as a precaution. An officer described the situation as pretty serious. However, authorities stated there is no connection to the World Cup or any threat to the tournament.

Stadium Hosts Multiple Matches
