Three 17-year-old boys have been arrested following a violent robbery in Lichfield city centre, where a teenage victim was assaulted and had his electric bicycle stolen.

Attack in City Centre

The incident occurred on Conduit Street at approximately 6.10pm on Wednesday, 3 December. According to Staffordshire Police, a teenage boy was set upon by a group of three other youths.

The assailants reportedly punched and kicked the victim before seizing his e-bike. The group then fled in the direction of Lichfield City railway station.

Swift Police Response and Arrests

Officers responded promptly to reports of the attack. Their investigation led to the arrest of three suspects, all aged 17.

The arrested teenagers are from: Aston in Birmingham; Smethwick in the Black Country; and Stafford.

All three have been released on bail with conditions while police inquiries continue. Fortunately, the victim sustained only minor injuries and did not require serious medical attention.

Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Staffordshire Police have issued a public appeal for information to assist their investigation. A spokesperson stated: "We are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch."
