The three teenagers, two aged 15 and one aged 14, were detained on suspicion of attempted murder, bringing the total number of arrests in this disturbing case to seven.

Details of the Violent Incident

The horrific attack took place at approximately 9pm on Saturday, February 7, outside a commercial premises on Stratford Road in the Shirley area of Solihull. During the incident, three teenage boys were assaulted with machetes, resulting in severe injuries for one of the victims.

A 15-year-old boy sustained life-changing injuries during the armed assault and required immediate medical attention. Another victim, aged 14, suffered machete wounds and was transported to hospital for treatment. A third 15-year-old boy was also attacked during the same incident but did not require hospitalisation.

Ongoing Police Investigation

Police have been conducting an intensive investigation since the attack occurred. A 16-year-old has already been charged with two counts of attempted murder, assault, and possession of a bladed article in relation to this case.

The three most recent arrestees have been released on bail while police continue their enquiries. All seven individuals arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed pending further investigation, according to official police statements.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police confirmed the latest developments, stating: "We've this week arrested three more teenagers on suspicion of attempted murder after three boys were attacked in Solihull earlier this month. The incident happened outside a shop on Stratford Road, Shirley, at around 9pm on Saturday 7 February."

The police statement continued: "One of them, a 15-year-old boy, sustained life-changing injuries as a result of the armed attack. We've been continuing our enquiries into what happened and this week detained three more teens, two aged 15 and a 14-year-old, in connection with the incident."

Authorities are actively seeking additional information about the attack and have made a public appeal for witnesses or anyone with relevant evidence to come forward.
