West Midlands Police swiftly descended upon a city centre apartment block following reports of vehicle crime in Birmingham. The incident occurred on Sheepcote Street at approximately 6.30am on Friday, November 22.
Suspects Detained and Charged
Following a rapid response and swift investigative work, officers detained two individuals near the scene. Lisa Wise, aged 42, and Emile George, aged 56, both residents of Birmingham, were arrested.
The pair have now been formally charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle. A police statement released on Saturday, November 22, confirmed the charges and commended the officers' quick actions.
