The city of Birmingham is in mourning today after a 34-year-old woman tragically died from her injuries following a stabbing in the heart of the city centre.
Details of the Tragic Incident
The attack occurred on Friday, November 7, shortly after 9pm on Smallbrook Queensway, a busy thoroughfare located directly outside the Bullring shopping centre and New Street station.
The victim sustained a serious injury to her neck during the assault and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, detectives confirmed this morning that she has sadly died from her wounds.
