The Llandyrnog and Llangwyfan Local History Society enjoyed a remarkable October gathering with an engaging presentation on two of North Wales' most significant medieval fortifications.
Captivating Castle Conservation Talk
Fiona Gale MBE delivered a thoroughly researched and compelling talk focusing on both Denbigh Castle and Ruthin Castle, exploring their rich historical backgrounds alongside the ongoing challenges in preserving these important heritage sites for future generations. The event attracted a fantastic turnout of local history enthusiasts to Llandyrnog Village Hall, demonstrating strong community interest in regional heritage.
The society's Annual General Meeting preceded the main presentation, where members discussed organisational matters and future plans for the active historical group.
