Jack Osbourne is preparing for one of his biggest challenges yet as he enters the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, just months after the death of his iconic father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

A Journey of Grief and Courage

The 40-year-old television personality confirmed his participation in the popular ITV programme, with filming taking place in Australia this month. He will join a roster of celebrities living in the jungle and facing gruelling trials.

This experience carries a profound emotional weight for Jack, whose father, the former Black Sabbath frontman, died aged 76 on July 22. Ozzy's passing came just weeks after his final performance at the Back to the Beginning gig at Villa Park.

Family Support from Sharon and Kelly

Despite the family's immense loss, Jack has revealed that his mother, Sharon Osbourne, and sister, Kelly, are fully behind his decision. He stated they will be watching his jungle adventure from home.

"Mum and Kelly, yeah they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive," Jack said in an interview. His biggest challenge, however, will be being separated from his own immediate family.

"It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind," he admitted. "I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure."

Embracing the Jungle Challenge

While Jack has endured long filming trips for shows like Adrenaline Junkie, he acknowledged that the complete lack of contact with his wife and children will be particularly tough. His goal is to make his family proud through the experience.

He described feeling "very nervous" about the unknown challenges ahead but also expressed a strong sense of intrigue. "The real reason why it is popular is people sit at home saying, ‘Could I do that?’, so I think a lot of why I’ve said ‘yes’ is the intrigue and how would I survive that?"

Jack hopes his time in the jungle will be transformative, citing the profound impact it has had on previous contestants. On the topic of winning, he said it would be incredibly flattering to receive the public's vote.

He will be joined in the jungle by other stars including Lisa Riley, Shona McGarty, Martin Kemp, Ruby Wax, Alex Scott, Eddie Kadi, Aitch, and Vogue Williams.
