Jack Osbourne has shared an emotional personal announcement, revealing he is set to become a father again and that he was able to tell his late dad, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, the happy news before his death.
A Bittersweet Announcement After the Jungle
The 40-year-old television personality, who recently appeared on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, confirmed that he and his wife, Aree Gearhart, are expecting their second child together. This will be Jack's fifth child overall.
In a poignant revelation, Jack explained how he felt "proud" to have shared the news about the latest addition to the Osbourne family with his father before Ozzy passed away in July 2025.
Planned Joy Amidst Grief
Speaking in an interview after leaving the jungle, Jack described the pregnancy as "awesome" and said the couple were "super-excited." He acknowledged the timing was slightly earlier than anticipated but confirmed it was a planned event. "It's definitely something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously," he said.
The last few months have been a complex mix of emotions for Jack, navigating both the joy of the baby news and the profound grief of losing his father. He reflected on this duality, stating the pregnancy has been "partly a healthy distraction, partly healing" and representing a kind of "full cycle."
"It's very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness," he told The Sun on Sunday.
Osbourne Family's Rollercoaster Year
Jack secretly married Aree Gearhart in 2023, a year after the birth of their first daughter, Maple. From his previous marriage to Lisa Stelly, he is also father to Pearl, 13, Andy, 10, and Minnie, seven.
The baby news marks another significant moment in what has been a tumultuous year for the famous family, following the global mourning of the Birmingham-born rock legend. Ozzy Osbourne died shortly after his celebrated homecoming performance at Aston Villa's Villa Park stadium.
A month after his father's passing, Jack posted a heartfelt tribute on social media, expressing his deep sorrow and gratitude. "I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing," he wrote, alongside photos of his children with their grandfather.
