Jack Osbourne tears up over Ozzy's death on I'm A Celeb

In a raw and emotional moment on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Jack Osbourne broke down in tears while speaking about the tragic death of his legendary father, Ozzy Osbourne.

A Heartfelt Jungle Conversation

The poignant scene unfolded as the 40-year-old sat by the campfire with fellow contestant Lisa Riley. Opening up for the first time about his father's passing on the ITV reality show, Jack became visibly upset as he described the Black Sabbath frontman's death from a heart attack in July as a 'huge shock'.

Jack revealed he was still processing his grief just four months after the loss, which came following Ozzy's long battle with Parkinson's disease. 'It was definitely a shock,' he shared, 'I mean we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock, we didn't think it would be that quick.'

Bonding Over Shared Loss

The conversation took a deeper turn as Lisa Riley, who lost her own mother, offered comfort and understanding. Lisa reassured Jack that his father would be incredibly supportive of his decision to join the jungle adventure.

'He's looking at me going like, what the f*ck are you doing?' Jack joked about what his dad might think, before adding seriously: 'He would be so supportive of this. The whole family was, there were like absolutely go do it.'

Lisa shared her own experience of grief, telling Jack: 'My mum is up there as well so I get it.' Speaking of Ozzy's legacy, she added: 'What a legacy, the legacy of legacies. He was so special wasn't he. He's forever, ever, ever with you, always, and don't forget that.'

Reflecting on the Emotional Impact

Later, in the Bush Telegraph, Jack reflected on the touching exchange with the Emmerdale actress, acknowledging how it brought up powerful emotions. 'I actually really appreciated that connection but it also brings up a lot right, it brings up a lot of feelings,' he confessed.

'If I'm being honest I'm still navigating it all, it's been three nearly four months and so it's still pretty fresh.'

Lisa also processed the emotional conversation separately, revealing in the hut: 'For me, my mum, for Jack, his dad. They're not there anymore. He can't pick the phone up when he gets out and say, 'Dad, I've just done the jungle,' I can't say that to my mum. That's hard. It's hard.'

The conversation also touched on Kelly Osbourne's current situation, with Jack explaining that his sister is 'bouncing between England and America' to support their mother Sharon at the family's UK home.
