Kelly Brook's Husband Reveals 'Upsetting' Final Call Before I'm A Celeb
Jeremy Parisi's emotional goodbye to Kelly Brook

Kelly Brook's husband Jeremy Parisi has opened up about their emotional farewell conversation before the radio presenter entered the I'm A Celebrity jungle, admitting he felt 'scared' for his wife during her dramatic arrival.

The Heartbreaking Goodbye Call

The 40-year-old Italian model and actress bid farewell to her husband via FaceTime while flying to Australia for the ITV reality show. Their touching conversation was suddenly interrupted when producers informed Kelly she needed to surrender her phone immediately.

Speaking on Monday's episode of Loose Women, Jeremy revealed: "We spoke until last Sunday. We did the last FaceTime, and she said, I need to give my phone now." The abrupt end to their call left him feeling emotional and concerned about his wife's jungle adventure.

Support From Family and Jungle Fears

Jeremy explained that he travelled to Italy to stay with his family for support during Kelly's absence. "I went to Italy to see my family for one week because I didn't want to stay alone," he told the Loose Women panel consisting of Ruth Langsford, Nadia Sawalha, Sue Cleaver and Brenda Edwards.

The concerned husband admitted feeling "really scared" while watching Kelly's dramatic jungle entrance, which involved leaping from a helicopter to meet presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Despite his fears, he expressed immense pride in his wife's courage, especially given her fears about the experience.

When asked about what might make Kelly uncomfortable in camp, Jeremy suggested snakes or spiders might be particular concerns for the glamorous model.

Bikinis, Challenges and Camp Dynamics

The conversation took a lighter turn when Ruth Langsford enquired about rumours that Kelly had packed numerous bikinis for shower scenes. Jeremy confirmed the speculation, revealing he'd seen the collection himself, to which Nadia Sawalha quipped about Kelly wearing a different one each day.

Jeremy made it clear he wants viewers to protect his wife from difficult challenges, telling the panel: "We need to leave Kelly to relax. Leave my wife, please, leave my wife alone."

He also revealed insights into their relationship dynamics, explaining that after ten years together, they rarely argue seriously. "We don't argue, you know. After 10 years, we've [had] some tension sometimes in the relationship, but nothing bad," he shared, suggesting Kelly is unlikely to engage in fiery rows with fellow campmates.

Kelly faced a challenging start to her jungle experience alongside campmates including Ruby Wax, Alex Scott, Shona McGarty, Martin Kemp, and Lisa Riley. Their group endured cockroaches and creepy crawlies being tipped on them while attempting to secure stars for their first meal, contrasting sharply with other celebrities who enjoyed steaks and luxury arrivals.
