Wrapping Up Their 'Nearly Parents' Podcast
The birth news comes shortly after Jamie and Sophie recorded the final episode of their parenting podcast, Nearly Parents. During the taping last week, the couple were treated to a surprise farewell celebration before Sophie began her maternity leave, which left her feeling emotional.
Jamie exclaimed to the audience, "Now we get the party started," as everyone applauded. In a light-hearted moment during the concluding podcast, Sophie joked about methods to encourage labour, saying they were at the stage where they "should be nailing the sex."
Jamie responded with mock surprise, leading to a playful exchange where Sophie reiterated, "we need to be having sex, we really need to wrap this up." The couple burst into laughter, with Sophie adding a humorous comment about her pregnancy physique.
The pair got engaged in December 2021 and later tied the knot in a London civil ceremony in April 2023, surrounded by close family and friends.
