Keith Gordon, aged 69, began his transformation into a living canvas at the age of 52. What started as an interest rapidly evolved into an obsession, propelling him to national recognition as one of the UK's most inked men. His dedication to the punk aesthetic, inspired by a lifelong passion for rock music, saw him undergo extensive work, including tattoos on his entire head, neck, and even his eyelids.
After 17 years of constant additions, Gordon estimates that a mere three per cent of his body remains without ink, leaving virtually no room for further designs. The father, known for his striking appearance, has now decided to step back from the tattooist's chair for good.

Gordon admits that becoming heavily tattooed became akin to an addiction. He thrived on the public's reaction and was constantly chasing the euphoric high that came with each new, more outrageous piece of art. He described the peak of his journey as a time when he felt invincible, "like a God, and like I was walking on air."
However, a combination of factors led to his recent decision. Alongside the practical issue of dwindling space, health considerations and a sense of maturity have prompted introspection. "I've grown up and got older," Gordon explained, "and I'm starting to feel like I've been there and done it."
