Olivia Attwood Breaks Silence on Marriage Collapse
Reality television star turned documentary maker Olivia Attwood has delivered an explosive statement detailing the painful reasons behind the end of her relationship with footballer Bradley Dack. The 34-year-old former Love Island contestant claimed she had been "covering up" for the athlete and "lying to her family" for years before reaching her breaking point.
Years of Deception and Heartbreak
In a candid Instagram post that has sent shockwaves through the entertainment and sports communities, Attwood revealed that Dack had repeatedly cheated on her throughout their decade-long relationship. The couple, who married three years ago, had been together since before Attwood's appearance on Love Island in 2017.
"I have stood by Brad for the last ten years during which he lied and cheated on me multiple times," Attwood wrote. "The breakdown of our relationship is because of this."
She described how she had initially gone on the ITV dating show after receiving a call from another woman who claimed to be dating Dack simultaneously. Despite this early warning sign, Attwood said she remained committed to the relationship, believing in Dack's potential and trying to help him become "the best version of himself."
The Final Straw and Public Humiliation
Attwood disclosed that the decisive moment came this January when she was confronted at a screening of one of her television shows. Someone approached her with reports of yet another incident where Dack had "gone back with a random girl." This proved to be the final betrayal that prompted her to leave the marriage.
"I of course now feel like a f***ing idiot," Attwood admitted, adding that she finds the entire situation "utterly humiliating." She expressed particular disappointment that much of the recent criticism directed at her has come from "fellow females" in media coverage.
Navigating Professional Life Amid Personal Turmoil
The revelation comes amid intense scrutiny of Attwood's professional life, including a recent fakery row surrounding her televised wedding on Olivia Meets Her Match. The Sun newspaper revealed that Attwood was never legally married to Dack, despite ITV airing three series documenting their wedding proposal, preparations, and ceremony.
Despite the personal devastation, Attwood emphasized her commitment to her career. "Yes, I'm dating. Yes I'm getting up every single day even when I have cried all night to film the shows I love filming, record my podcast, record my radio show, shoot campaigns and somewhere in there TRY to move on," she wrote.
Attwood confirmed she has entered the dating scene again, having been photographed recently kissing television personality Pete Wicks. Her statement represents the first time she has publicly addressed the collapse of her marriage while simultaneously defending her professional integrity against recent criticism.
