The much-loved model railway exhibition is making a triumphant return to Deal, set to take place at the Landmark Centre on the High Street on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Organised by the East Kent Model Railway Society, this event promises to delight families, hobbyists, and railway enthusiasts of all ages with an impressive array of displays and activities.

Exhibition Highlights and Features

The show will feature approximately 20 detailed layouts in a variety of scales and styles, ranging from compact displays to expansive setups up to 20 feet long. These exhibits will showcase busy junctions and scenic landscapes, offering a captivating glimpse into the world of model railways. In addition, 10 specialist traders will be on hand, selling models, accessories, and spare parts to visitors looking to enhance their collections.

A special highlight of the event is the limited-edition OO scale coal wagon, produced exclusively for the exhibition. This model celebrates the former Deal & Walmer Gas & Coke Company, with only 120 units available, making it a must-have for collectors. The exhibition will display both traditional steam trains and modern diesel and electric stock, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience for all attendees.
