Celebrity Gogglebox Series 8 Lineup: New Stars Join Show

Celebrity Gogglebox is making a comeback to our screens, boasting a fresh lineup of well-known faces, including two Strictly stars. The Channel 4 spin-off first aired in 2019 and has since grown into one of the broadcaster's most beloved programmes.

The forthcoming eighth series will see several fan favourites returning, among them Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness, Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv, and Denise Van Outen and Johnny Vaughan. However, a host of new celebrities will also be joining the fold, sharing their opinions on the week's finest, most dreadful, and most outlandish television, all from the comfort of their own sofas.

New Faces Joining the Gogglebox Family

Among the new famous faces joining the Gogglebox family this series are TV personality Olivia Attwood and her mum Jennifer, and Harry and Matt, better known as Nitro and Legend from Gladiators, reports the Daily Star. Rounding off the lineup are Strictly star George Clark, content creator Max Balegde, comedian and actor Julian Clary, and television presenter Nigel Havers.

Olivia Attwood on Her Gogglebox Experience

Speaking about her appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox, Olivia Attwood described it as something that "was chaotic but in the best possible way". She went on to say: "It's not often that we agree on things which I think the viewers may find entertaining. My family are huge fans of the show, so it's a real honour to be a part of such an iconic British programme."

Gladiators Star Matt on His Sofa Performance

Meanwhile, Matt, aka Legend, said: "Everyone knows how good I am at being on TV, but turns out I'm even better at watching it. Wow. Absolutely incredible sofa performance. Anyway, I had a great time on the show, and I need to say a massive thank you to Gogglebox for literally paying me to watch TV. What a time to be alive."

George Clarke on Teasing Max Balegde

Strictly 2025 finalist George Clarke also commented: "I loved it, mainly because it gave me a full excuse to take the mick out of Max on national TV. He reacts to everything, so you're never bored. It's so easy to get into as well, you just sit there, say exactly what you're thinking, and before you know it, we've gone completely off track!"

Nigel Havers and Julian Clary Duo

Coronation Street legend Nigel Havers also remarked: "It's a dream come true working with Julian on Gogglebox. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening... (Julian wrote this)."

Returning Favourites

A host of much-loved British personalities are also due to make a return, amongst them Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness, Bez and Shaun, Roman and Martin Kemp, Ashley Banjo and Perri Kiely, Nick Grimshaw and niece Liv, the Mangans, Rylan and mum Linda, Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe, Denise Van Outen and Johnny Vaughan and Vicky Pattison and Pete Wicks.

Celebrity Gogglebox airs every Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
