Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have revealed the name of their newborn son, Midas, during a dramatic fight night announcement. The couple, who welcomed their second child earlier this week, kept the name secret until Fury stepped into the ring to face strongman Eddie Hall at The AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday night.
Name Revealed on Fight Shorts
Fury had promised that the name would be displayed on his fight shorts, and he delivered on that vow with "Midas" emblazoned on his kit. Speaking to Mirror Fighting before the event, he said: "All will be revealed on Saturday night. I'm looking forward to it. I've been asked more about the name than the actual fight. It's going to be an entertaining night and all will be revealed. It's been a huge week for me and it can't be described as anything other than a huge blessing."
Family Expansion
Fury and Hague, who first met on ITV's Love Island, are already parents to daughter Bambi, born in January 2023. Hague confirmed she was expecting their second child in February. On Wednesday, the couple shared a black and white photograph on Instagram showing the trio gazing at their new arrival, with the caption: "... and then there were 4." The post received over 1.5 million likes within two hours, with friends and fans offering congratulations. TV host and former Love Islander Maura Higgins commented: "Congratulations again. So happy for you all."
Love Story and Careers
Hague and Fury first met in 2019 on the fifth series of Love Island, finishing as runners-up. They became engaged but parted ways in August 2024 before reconciling and confirming their reunion in May last year. Since Love Island, Hague has amassed 8.6 million Instagram followers and launched her own fashion label, Maebe, in 2024. She made her first public outing since welcoming her baby on Saturday evening, attending Fury's fight against Hall.
