2026 ProCon Awards Launch Search for Top Construction Projects
The 2026 ProCon Awards have officially opened their entry process, inviting submissions for the finest new buildings and construction developments across Leicestershire and Rutland. This prestigious event, now in its 23rd year, also features a Rising Star category to spotlight emerging talent in the property and construction sectors.
Entry Details and Ceremony Information
Entry for the awards remains free of charge, with a closing date of July 8. Finalists and winners will be honored at a grand ceremony scheduled for November 12 at Leicester City's King Power Stadium. Notably, tickets for this event sold out in under three minutes, ensuring a full house of 620 attendees. However, tables of ten tickets are still available for businesses interested in sponsoring one of the award categories.
Award Categories and Sponsorship Support
The awards encompass eight distinct categories, covering residential and non-residential schemes of various scales, regeneration initiatives, and the Rising Star award for professionals making a significant impact early in their careers. The 2026 edition is already supported by two corporate sponsors: Salus and Unique Window Systems, with Leicester Mercury's Business Live serving as the media partner.
Stuart Power and Paul Meadows, directors at Salus, expressed their pride in continuing as corporate sponsors, highlighting the awards' role in celebrating industry excellence amidst regulatory challenges. They also noted Salus's transition to an employee-owned company this year, reinforcing their commitment to independence in building control and fire safety consulting.
Sunil Patel, joint-managing director at Unique Window Systems, emphasized their 20th-anniversary celebration and dedication to high standards, stating their sponsorship reflects advocacy for excellence in the built environment sector across the UK.

Companies eager to attend the ceremony can join a reserve list, while those interested in sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to contact Allyson Jeffrey via phone or email. Further details about the awards are available on the official ProCon Leicestershire website.
