Pamela Anderson has publicly described an uncomfortable moment with actor and producer Seth Rogen at the 2026 Golden Globes ceremony, stating the encounter left her feeling "yucky".
An Unwelcome Reunion at the Awards
The Baywatch icon, now 58, was presenting the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy on 12 January 2026 when she spotted Rogen in the audience. Anderson, who presented the award to winner Rose Byrne alongside Miley Cyrus, explained the sight of Rogen immediately soured her evening.
During a candid conversation on Andy Cohen Live, Anderson expressed her lingering frustration with Rogen for his role in producing the Hulu series Pam & Tommy. The show dramatised her marriage to Tommy Lee and the theft of their private tape, a period she describes as "the worst time in my life".
"Seth Rogen, he did that [series] without talking to me," Anderson told Cohen. "How can someone make a TV series out of the difficult times in your life, and 'I'm a living, breathing human being over here. Hello.'"
The Emotional Impact of 'Pam & Tommy'
Anderson revealed that the surprise encounter prompted her to leave the Beverly Hilton event early. "I left after that and went right to bed," she said, admitting she felt "weird" and "a little bit down" upon seeing Rogen, 43, seated nearby in the audience pit.
When Cohen asked if she had spoken to Rogen, Anderson confirmed their proximity but said the moment was too awkward. "I may have just felt like, 'I'm not chopped liver over here,'" she reflected. The actress, who has starred in five films in the past year, said the incident was a stark reminder of the pain caused by the unauthorised series.
"Well, you are free game. When you are a public person they say you have no right to privacy," Anderson stated. "But your darkest, deepest secrets or your tragedies in your life shouldn't be fair game for [a] TV series. That p---ed me off a little bit."
A Lingering Hope for Resolution
Despite her clear discomfort, Anderson indicated she is trying to move forward. "Everything's good," she said. "I mean there's worse things going on in the world." However, she did express a faint hope for an apology, even while downplaying its significance.
"It just felt like a little yucky. But eventually, hopefully he will, maybe he'll reach out to me and apologise. Not that that matters," Anderson remarked. Cohen suggested an apology "might mean something," but Anderson's complex feelings about the series remain.
This is not the first time Anderson has criticised the making of Pam & Tommy, which starred Lily James and Sebastian Stan. In her 2023 Netflix documentary Pamela, A Love Story, she asserted the producers "should have had my permission," emphasising that "nobody really knows what we were going through at the time." She has also consistently stated she has "no desire" to ever watch the Hulu series.
Reflecting on the awards night atmosphere, Anderson admitted to general unease. "It's so uncomfortable being around everybody there," she said, noting many attendees were from her "Malibu days." "I still don't feel like I belong in those rooms." While she didn't confront Rogen physically, she did so in her mind, miming a hard stare to Cohen as she recounted the story.
