Fans of the hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm are eagerly awaiting news of a sixth season, following Jeremy Clarkson's announcement of a break after wrapping season five. New rumours suggest that filming for the next instalment may already be underway, thanks to a promise Clarkson made about the British weather.
Has Filming For Series Six Already Begun?
The celebrity farmer, 65, previously stated that he and the Diddly Squat team planned to resume filming 'when it started snowing'. With Oxfordshire experiencing a January cold snap and snowfall, speculation is rife that cameras have already started rolling again at the now-famous farm.
Clarkson explained the decision to take a hiatus, telling The Sun that after finishing series five, farmhand Kaleb Cooper had gone to Australia, he was filming Millionaire Hot Seat, and he personally wanted a holiday. 'We just said 'OK, well let's just actually wrap it'… and then, I just said, 'If it snows we'll start filming again,'' he revealed. With snow on the ground at Diddly Squat, it appears the break may be over.
What We Know About The Release Date & Future
An official release date for Clarkson's Farm series six remains a way off, as the highly anticipated fifth season has yet to air. However, Clarkson has confirmed that both he and Amazon are keen to proceed with a sixth series, and he even has ideas for a potential seventh.
'We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six,' he said. He added that he would only stop making the series when he ran out of ideas, confirming, 'I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see…'
Which Beloved Cast Members Are Expected To Return?

- Kaleb Cooper – The invaluable and opinionated farmhand.

The combination of agricultural challenges, unpredictable weather, and the unique dynamics of the Diddly Squat crew promises to deliver another entertaining season whenever it finally arrives on screens.
