Micah expressed frustration with the producers' handling of the situation, stating that he felt his mental health was used as a "scapegoat" for their dismissal. He urged producers to involve the police to clear his name, arguing that removing him without proof validated the allegations. "They thought it was in my best interest for me to be dismissed from the experiment with no visual proof or nothing," Micah said in an interview with Daily Mail Australia.

Ankita Karungalekar revealed the significant financial impact of her removal from the show, estimating she invested between $6,000 and $10,000 in preparation. This included expenses for clothing, food, luggage, and lost work opportunities. She also turned down four months of presenting work to fully commit to the experiment, leaving her unemployed for a month after filming ended.
