Kelly Osbourne has expressed her heartbreak after her brother, Jack Osbourne, was left as the sole contestant on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! to miss out on a cherished letter from home.
Quiz Failure Leads to Emotional Setback
During Sunday night's episode of the ITV reality show, fellow campmates Vogue Williams, Martin Kemp, and rapper Aitch took on the 'Blender Defenders' challenge. Their task was to secure messages from their families for everyone in the camp. However, the trio stumbled when quizzed about Jack's age when he first found fame on the family's reality series, The Osbournes.
As a consequence of the wrong answer, the letters were immediately destroyed in a blender. This left Jack, a father-of-four who married Aree just over two years ago, to watch on as he remained the only person without a personal message from loved ones.
Kelly Osbourne's Emotional Social Media Response
Moments after the broadcast, Kelly Osbourne took to Instagram to share her feelings. While thanking fans for voting to keep Jack in the jungle, she admitted the outcome of the task had hit her hard.
"I'm so sad he didn't get his letter from the family," the 41-year-old said. "But he took it really, really well. But I'm even more sad Eddie's left the jungle cause I loved Eddie. This sucks!" Her comments referenced the recent departure of comedian Eddie Kadi, who had shared a poignant moment with Jack earlier in the series.
A Heartfelt Tribute to Father Ozzy
The missed letter comes as Jack continues to navigate the jungle experience while grieving the loss of his father, Ozzy Osbourne. The Black Sabbath legend passed away earlier this year, shortly after a final performance in Birmingham.
In a previous episode, Eddie Kadi comforted Jack after he became tearful discussing his father. When asked what he missed most about Ozzy, Jack fought back tears to reply, "Just his energy. He had this force... It was like he swallowed the galaxy and didn't know what to do with it."
Kelly has been a vocal supporter of her brother throughout his jungle stint, previously praising his bravery during a challenging Bushtucker Trial. She and their mother, Sharon Osbourne, watched breathlessly as Jack held his breath underwater for 26 seconds, with Kelly later exclaiming, "He did f****** amazing."
