The animosity between Price and Brook, which escalated dramatically from 2013, was rooted in their parallel careers and a shared romantic history with rugby star Danny Cipriani. Vicious insults were traded in public, with Price once using her newspaper column to brand Brook a 'heffer' in a particularly harsh attack.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Katie Price, 47, used her recent podcast episode with her sister Sophie to praise Kelly Brook, who had just entered the I'm A Celebrity jungle. Price stated, "Kelly Brook's in it. I love seeing Kelly in it." She reflected on their beginnings, noting, "Me and Kelly started our modelling career together and the only difference between me and Kelly back then, was she came from a dancing and acting background and she wouldn't get her t*** out but I did." She concluded with a compliment, saying "She was always stunning, she really is."

The feud ignited when Katie Price lambasted Kelly Brook in her column, commenting on promotional photographs and making a reference to their mutual ex, Danny Cipriani. Price wrote at the time, "They don't appear to be airbrushed and I'm FLABbergasted to see how big Kelly really is." She directly called Brook a "heffer," though added she was still a "hot one."

Following Brook's first appearance on Celebrity Juice, Katie Price made an initial attempt at peace, posting a public apology on X (formerly Twitter) which read: "I'm really sorry for what I've done you know I think your a natural beautiful girl we go back a long way so I'm sorry xx."
