Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens' annual Big Doggy Day Out is set to return next month, offering a fun-filled event for dog lovers and their four-legged friends. Visitors can browse a variety of dog-friendly stalls featuring tasty treats, toys, grooming services, unique gifts, and expert advice for canine companions.
Interactive Workshops and Activities
A highlight of the day is the lineup of interactive workshops and activities, providing opportunities for dogs and owners to learn new skills and have fun together. Activities include flyball sessions with have-a-go opportunities, have-a-go agility, enrichment games, and scent workshops, all led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic experts. Whether your dog is a beginner or already enjoys activity challenges, these sessions are designed to be engaging, rewarding, and enjoyable for both dogs and owners.
Fun Dog Show and Royal Photos
Don't miss the Fun Dog Show, where your pup can take centre stage, with prizes awarded and a special Best in Show winner crowned on the day. Enjoy royal-themed photoshoots by Zigzag Photography, with the chance for your dog to be crowned 'Royal Champion of Doggy Day'. The first 150 dogs to visit will also receive a complimentary bandana to take home.
The tearoom and beautiful gardens will be open as usual, so you can relax, refuel, and enjoy everything the estate has to offer. Big Doggy Day Out takes place on Sunday, June 7 from 11am to 3pm. Tickets cost £8 for adults, £3 for children, and dogs enter free. Your ticket also includes access to the historic gardens, woodland, and lakeside walks, alongside the full Doggy Day event.
