Aston Villa Fan Park Relocated to Utilita Arena

Aston Villa supporters heading to the Europa League final fan park next week will now gather at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, after the original venue, Luna Springs in Digbeth, had its licence suspended for 28 days. The suspension follows a double stabbing incident last weekend.

Event Relocation Details

Organisers 4TheFans confirmed the move to BirminghamLive, describing it as the 'biggest-ever fan park experience'. The event on Wednesday, May 20, will feature anti-glare screens with world-class sound systems, two unconfirmed Aston Villa legends providing analysis, DJs, entertainment, special effects, and a fully stocked bar. Doors open at 5pm, with the 8pm kick-off.

Ticket Information

Existing tickets will be automatically transferred to the new venue. Additional tickets, including front tables, are now available. General admission starts at £18.75, with premium seats from £26.

A 4TheFans spokesman said: '4TheFans worked quickly to secure one of the UK’s biggest indoor arenas - there are no limits to how big this fan park can get. With the unstoppable claret and blue army coming together to mark this historic moment, the 4TheFans fan park will deliver a genuine, stadium-like atmosphere as fans roar Villa towards the club’s first European trophy since 1982.'

About Utilita Arena

The Utilita Arena has hosted the Commonwealth Games, World Indoor Championships, Elton John, WWE, Eurovision, and Les Misérables. Now it joins Villa fans for another historic event. The spokesman added: 'Whatever happens, ecstasy or heartbreak, this is a match that Villa fans need to experience together.'

Tickets are available via the 4TheFans website. 4TheFans will also host the World Cup 2026 fan park in Birmingham from June 17, with events for England matches.

The licence suspension for Luna Springs was decided at a Birmingham City Council licensing sub-committee meeting on May 13.
