Ben & Jerry's, the popular ice cream chain known for flavours like Cookie Dough, Phish Food, and Chunky Monkey, is set to open at Merry Hill shopping centre soon. Hoarding has been installed on the upper mall, signalling the imminent arrival of the dessert retailer.
New Addition to Merry Hill
The well-known chain will join a host of new openings at the centre, including Popeyes on the retail park. An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but the store is expected to be a welcome addition for shoppers. It has been listed on Merry Hill's website as located on the upper mall near Pandora.
What Ben & Jerry's Will Offer
A post on Merry Hill's website reads: "We're excited to welcome Merry Hill into 'The Herd', serving our famously chunky, swirly ice cream to even more fans across the UK. Visit us soon to enjoy iconic flavours by the scoop in a cup or freshly baked waffle cone, exclusive flavours on loaded desserts with waffles and brownies, or our legen-dairy shakes and sundaes."
Ben & Jerry's first opened in 1978 in Burlington, Vermont, with the goal of making 'the best ice cream possible'.
Other Recent Changes at Merry Hill
The announcement comes days after Popeyes confirmed it would open on Merry Hill's retail park, while Superdrug is expanding its store to double in size. Meanwhile, Sides, the chicken restaurant from YouTube stars The Sidemen, has closed at Merry Hill.
