A major UK pub chain is offering free pints in Birmingham next week to celebrate the start of the World Cup. Greene King, which operates several pubs across the city, will provide complimentary drinks at select venues on June 11 when Mexico takes on South Africa.
How to Claim Your Free Drink
The offer is available at participating Greene King, Flaming Grill, Hungry Horse, and Belhaven pubs. To claim a free drink, customers must book a table for the match and show their booking confirmation at the bar. The match kicks off at 8pm on Thursday, June 11.
In a statement, Greene King said: "The World Cup is BACK this summer! We can't wait to see what unfolds as the world's game heads to North America with 48 teams (for the first time EVER), three countries and four weeks of unmissable international football."
The chain added: "And, don't worry. As the nation's pubs, we're ready and waiting with pints to be poured, big screens at the ready and cheers to rival a stadium crowd in our sports pubs across the country. It's coming home!"
